The Agents Always Wins

by Maxmakingmoney @ 2007-06-27 - 13:15:27

One of the most lucrative professions to be in these days is that of sports agent. Sports agents typically make between ten and fifteen percent of a professional athlete's contract. With the AVERAGE salary for a pro in American football, baseball, basketball, and hockey around $3 million, that means that the agents are getting $300,000 per client! If you can get four or five good clients, you will be making more than them. And the best thing is, after a contract is signed, you don't have to do anything. In other words, let's say that your rookie baseball player just signed with the Yankees a ten year contract for five million each year. That means that you will earn half a million dollars a year without doing any more work!

So how do you start? Easy. First, you don't need to know sports, you need to know how to argue. As far as you are concerned, your clients are the best players around. Anyone signing them is getting a great deal, no matter how much they have to pay. Your guys can win Superbowls and World Series. Just keep that thought in mind.

So where do you find clients? You need to get to them before they become well known. Go around all the local places and see who the best athletes are. Agree to represent them for a percentage of future earnings. They will be thrilled to hear that a real sports agents is interested, and if they don't make it, they don't have to pay anything! Meanwhile, have them sign an exclusive contract that ensures they can't fire you and get a different agent after they become famous.

In this system, everyone wins. Your athletes win, you win, and whatever team picks them will hopefully win.

Day Trading: Not for the Timid

by Maxmakingmoney @ 2007-06-14 - 13:23:05

So I am sure you have heard about people who make their living by being day traders. These are people who buy stocks and only hold them for a few hours. As soon as they go up a few pennies, the day traders sell them. While they only make a tiny amount per transaction, they multiply their gains through volume. In a few hours, a stock may go from $10 per share to $10 and 2 cents per share. Yet, if you bought $10,000 worth, you just made an easy $200. The key is to learn how to spot a stock that is on its way up while at the same time dumping stocks heading the wrong way. As with comedy and milk left out of the refrigerator, timing is everything. You just have to be ready to act as soon as you see changes in value.

Now, for the successful day trader, you have a great life. You can work as little as three hours each day. Just make sure to clear you accounts into safe holdings when you log off. You can spend the rest of the day enjoying your wealth. I think a good goal for a day's work is to earn $2,000. Work about twenty days each month so that you have $40,000 coming in. Then take one month off for vacation every quarter. You can certainly afford it.

I find the real key to wealth is knowing how to spend it. Go see the world, buy great wine and nice paintings. How about a mountain bike? You will find that amassing large amounts of money can really make a difference. I know the saying "money can't buy happiness," but don't you think the guy who thought that up was dirt poor? He certainly was not a successful day trader, right?

How to Make Money With Golf

by Maxmakingmoney @ 2007-06-14 - 13:22:25

If you thought that you had to be Tiger Woods to make a lot of money playing golf, you are way wrong. You can make a killing through golf, and you don't even have to know which end of the club to use! Curious? Read on.

Golf is extremely popular, especially among those with a bit of extra cash to throw around. People regularly spend thousands of dollars on clubs and other equipment. Yet, the big problem is that there is never enough places to practice the game. All golfers want to work on their drives and putts BEFORE they challenge their boss to an eighteen hole showdown. Here's where you can come in.

Lease some property that is completely vacant. It doesn't have to be in the center of town. All you need, is an area for people to practice driving and a little putting green. They will pay up to $50/hour to stand in place and wack golf balls into a big field. Of course, they will go through their balls very fast. So you should always be on hand to sell a bag of 20 balls for another $50. Don't worry, these people have money to spend.

The best thing is, at the end of the day, you collect all the thousands of balls and you can resell them the next day. No one expects to get their balls back at a driving range. Don't just stop at balls though. You can sell all sorts of gold equipment and clothing. Just think, standard mark-up on a single gold club is 500 percent!

If you don't have that much area, just use a net. Especially in crowded cities, anywhere a young budding golfer can go for a few hours to train will be appreciated. Before you know it, you will be raking in thousands of dollars every day. You will become a golf "pro" even without swinging the club once!

There's Money on that Envelope!

by Maxmakingmoney @ 2007-06-06 - 14:53:04

I am sure you have heard of people who collect stamps before, right? You probably belittled these hobbyists for spending their time collecting something that seems completely worthless. I mean, is there a shortage of stamps that one would need to conserve them? Like most people, you probably snickered when you passed by the guy with glue on his fingers busy with some huge stamp collection book.

Hold on! He may be the one snickering at you. See, there is real money to be made in stamp collecting, real good money. The serious collector is not in the business because he loves looking at little pictures. He's in it because he can make millions if he knows what he is doing. See, there are billions of standardized stamps produced throughout the world. With all this stamp collection, sometimes mistakes happen. Stamps are printed upside down, they come out back to front, etc. When this happens, inspectors usually immediately stop the presses and fix the machinery to make sure that there are no more problems. Yet a few stamps get by.

The serious stamp collector will have his eyes out for these. While some people just think an upside down stamp is curious and stick it on their phone bill, some people know that these stamps can be worth hundreds, thousands, and even hundreds of thousands of dollars. They find the stamps, preserve them, and then find a dealer who is willing to pay top price.

Did you know that of the world's hundred richest people, twelve percent were stamp collectors. Now, I am not saying that this is how they acquired their wealth. On the other hand, if they thought it was a worthwhile pastime, shouldn't you?

Just don't laugh on the collectors anymore. Not unless you feel like laughing at people getting rich.
