Sell Used Books and Earn Cash!!!

by Maxmakingmoney @ 2007-09-24 - 13:46:10

Here's another fast and easy way to make money. People are always getting rid of used books. When people buy books, they read them once (maybe twice) then put them up on a shelf and forget about them until they need the room. Then they go in boxes in the basement. When they finally need room in the basement and look for something to get rid of, boxes of old books are usually the first to go. People don't even try to make a buck. Often, they even hire someone to cart the boxes of books off to the local dump.

What you can do is start by advertising your services to remove unwanted books. You can charge a low fee, say $10 per box. Believe it or not, people will pay that! But the real secret is that these books that they are paying you to get rid of are worth money! That is because smart people do not buy books from retail shops. They look for cheap ways to buy. That's where you come in. Advertise that once a month you will sponsor a giant book sale. Dust off those books and set up display tables in some shopping center parking lot. All you need is thirty locations, and you can do a book sale every day. Since the books cost you nothing (remember -- you were paid to take them) anything you charge is profit. Sell them for $3 per book. Sell one hundred and that's $300 profit in you pocket with no expenses on your part. Thirty times a month means you can earn $9,000/month or over $100,000 a year!

Don't worry about running out of books. The same people who buy books from you will pay you to take them back after a few months of gathering dust! So what are you waiting for. Go get rich!

Ice Cream and Soup

by Maxmakingmoney @ 2007-09-04 - 12:15:46

Very few people get rich from owning ice cream shops. The problem is that while they do great business in the summer, no one really wants to eat frozen food, no matter how sweet, in the dead of winter. When there are several inches of snow and ice stuck to your windshield, you really don't feel like putting a bit more snow and ice in your body.

Here's a great idea. Open an ice cream shop that switches to a soup bar after the Fall. On a cold winter day, who could possibly resist a steaming bowl of nice soup. Just as there are endless varieties of ice cream, you can also make endless varieties of soup. You could have about twenty regular soups, and then a few daily specials. People love chicken noodle, bean with barley, or maybe a spicy gumbo. The best thing is that you don't have to make many changes.

Think about a typical ice cream shop set-up. The customer looks through a glass display case at a few dozen large barrels of different flavors of ice cream. In the winter, all you have to do is take the ice cream buckets out and put large soup pots in their place. Just make sure to change the temperature settings on the case so that the soup stays hot.

After that everything you would do in an ice cream shop, you could do in your soup bar. You could have birthday parties there. Maybe even offer a noodle soup where you can spell out "congratulations" with a big noodle. Your possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

So come on, I am waiting to try the first ever ice cream/soup bar. Maybe we could even franchise the idea.
